Butina CO2 Combi system applies to slaughterhouses with small and medium production capacity, who want to implement technology within CO2-stunning of pigs and focus on animal welfare and quality.

DESCRIPTION OF STUNNING SYSTEM
The standard design of the Butina CO2 Combi system is stainless and galvanized supplemented with solid and thoroughly tested standard components and technologies, which prevent the pigs from getting stress.
The concept for this product is based on the pigs being driven forward to the stunning system in groups in a manual driveway. The pigs are divided into smaller groups and driven into the stunning boxes, which are lowered into a CO2-atmosphere by a paternoster or lift system. After the stunning, the pigs are tipped out from the stunning boxes for shackling and sticking. The Combi only allows one pig at a time to enter the stunning box. If emphasis is to avoid stress in the pigs the best results are obtained into cpacities less than 250 pigs/hour

   80 - 480 pigs per hour
