DESCRIPTION OF STUNNING SYSTEM
The standard design of the Butina CO2 Jumbo system is stainless and galvanized supplemented with solid and thoroughly tested standard components and technologies, which prevent the pigs from getting stress.
The concept for this product is based on the pigs being driven forward to the stunning system in groups in a mechanical or manual driveway. The pigs are divided into smaller groups and driven into the stunning boxes, which are lowered into a CO2-atmosphere by a paternoster or lift system. After the stunning, the pigs are tipped out from the stunning boxes for shackling and sticking.

4 pigs per stunning box

240 - 960 pigs per hour
